Small ceramic lightball - sea blue

Description

Beautiful ceramic light ball in a blue-green speckled glaze. The tea light emits a nice, warm light through the fine holes in the light ball and conjures up an interesting play of shadows on the walls.

The lightballs are handmade by me. First the ball is formed and then the holes are cut into the lightball. Then the ball is fired at 950 degrees. The glaze is then applied in several layers and this is fired again at 1240 degrees. There is an opening for the tea light on the back.

Since each ball is made by hand, each ball is unique.

The lightballs are offered without lighting. A tea light can be used for lighting. The ceramic balls are suitable for outdoor use and are also frost-resistant. So that you can enjoy the ceramic balls for a long time, I recommend storing them in the covered outdoor area in winter.

Please note: If you illuminate the sphere with a tea light, the sphere may become very hot. It is better not to touch the ball or use protection for your hands.
