Ceramic light ball speckled in dark green
Beautiful ceramic light ball speckled in glossy dark green. The chain of lights or the tea light emits a nice warm light through the fine holes and stars of the light ball and conjures up an interesting play of shadows on the walls.
The light balls are handmade by me. First the sphere is formed and then the holes are cut into the flare. Then the ball is fired at 950 degrees. A dark green glaze is then applied in several layers and this is fired again at 1240 degrees.
Depending on the size of the ball, several hours of work have gone into each individual light ball. The ceramic balls have a diameter of approx. 16 cm.
The glaze is glossy dark green with brownish flecks. Since each ball is made by hand, each ball is unique. The ball made for you can therefore differ slightly from the picture.
The flares are offered without lighting. A chain of lights or a tea light can be used for the lighting. Both make a beautifully warm light. The ceramic balls are suitable for outdoor use and are also frost-resistant. So that you can enjoy the ceramic balls for a long time, I recommend storing them in the covered outdoor area in winter.
Please note: If you illuminate the ball with a tea light, the ball may (depending on its size) get very hot. It is better not to touch the ball or use protection for your hands. A small hole for the cable was punched into the base of the ball for lighting with a chain of lights.
After ordering and payment, I will make the light ball directly for you. Due to the drying and burning times, it takes about 2-3 weeks until the light ball can be shipped.
